At the Village Youth Fund, we strive to uphold the highest standards of financial integrity. We understand that every dollar donated represents somebody’s trust in our mission, and we are committed to honoring that trust with utmost transparency.
We have therefore made the choice to release comprehensive financial reports at the conclusion of each academic quarter. Below you will find a detailed breakdown of the utilization of your donations during Quarter 1 (January 1 - March 30). We take great care in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial records and thus require our field officers in Kenya to provide receipts for every expense, which have all been sorted and accounted for. However, in accordance with internet safety laws safeguarding the privacy of minors, we are unable to publicly disclose these receipts, as many of them contain sensitive information such as last names of students and specific locations where children reside. If you have any questions about this or would like to request that we blur out sensitive information on all the receipts to be able to share them with you, please email kateott@villageyouthfund.org.
